Community Beginner ,

Hello there, my question is, how can I determine the exact colour stop position before I save a gradient in adobe colour? Please see the files below concerning the location of the stops.

Yes, Hello. Thanks for your reply.

For example, in illustrator, I have three stops, consisting of three different hex colours set at locations of 50%, 65% and 100%.

When I upload a simple square png containing a gradient to extract it, to make it exactly the same as my gradient png, I need to adjust the gradient stops first to get the correct hex code for each of the three colours and then I also then need to try and guess the stop locations along the path to set them at 50%, 65% and 100% without being able to see their exact placement along the gradient or any way to adjust their location once I have extracted and created a gradient.

Is there a way to correctly place the stops at certain positions such as described above to adjust their position before or once the gradient is saved?  I hope this makes my question more straightforward.

Billee
