Please can you enable embedding for published Express videos

Community Beginner ,

I realise this is not the same type of embed obviously, but as an Embed SDK user I would like to request that you enable embedding of published express projects via links.

You can currently publish a video for public sharing via a link.

e.g.

https://new.express.adobe.com/published/urn:aaid:sc:EU:50202e3c-53be-44e8-9d4f-e91ce4c23b0b?promoid=...

But that link does not allow you to embed it in an iframe. It gives an error because you have a block on embedding Express assets on other domains. It used to be possible until last year as I understand it, and then it was turned off around the time of GA for new Express.

I thought maybe it was something that was forgotten, or a decision that was made without understanding the consequences.

It is very unhelpful and unusual to have a published link that cannot be embedded.

This would be incredibly powerful for our workflow – we are able to embed videos from every other social platform by using the published links. We love people to return assets to our app, but we would also like to be able to embed published assets.

This would also help with an important add-on workflow that we are trying to design.

I know you are all off next week, but could you add it to the feature request list as an item for urgent consideration as soon as possible?

Thanks,

Ru

I raised this ticket by on another Adobe account login by mistake.
But could someone review this and let me know you've received it?

Further to my last email, I have found that the headers in a regular published Express link like this:
https://new.express.adobe.com/published/urn:aaid:sc:EU:50202e3c-53be-44e8-9d4f-e91ce4c23b0b?promoid=...

Contain the oEmbed URL that lets me make a URL that can be embedded in an iframe like this:

https://new.express.adobe.com/published/urn:aaid:sc:EU:50202e3c-53be-44e8-9d4f-e91ce4c23b0b?oEmbedWo...

Seemingly just by appending ?oEmbedWorkflow=true\ to the URL, that URL is now embeddable in an iFrame.

However, this still frames my published file in an Express Frame with a title bar - see link.

It would be much more useful if my Express content was embeddable without this frame, like other web content.

We have an Embed and Add On use case which would be incredibly powerful if embedding without the frame were possible.

Please could you let me know if this request is not clear? It seems like it's probably already possible via a URL format - if so, could you let me know what I can use? If not, can we have a conversation to explain out the feature request and utility?

Hi Adobe folks,
Has anyone seen this? I'm concerned that it's not replied to because it's considered not relevant or not understandable? But it is an important feature change request for us.

Hello Ru,

looking at your note it seems that you are talking about embeding your work created in Express into your website.

This forum is specific to the Embed SDK, which is a tool that allows developers to expose certain functionality of Express into their sites.

It seems in this case, you would be better off providign this feedback in UserVoice, in fact, there's a request that seems related. https://adobeexpress.uservoice.com/forums/951181-adobe-express/suggestions/47151637-bring-back-embed...
