Has anyone published KDP paperbacks using AI images? I'm wondering if KDP will accept them. I haven't modified the images in any way. Thank you!
Hi @paula_8304, I upload books to KDP frequently. During the upload process from the user's dashboard, KDP asks if any content is AI generated, and you must check yes or no. If you say no, and they are detected, your book will likely be rejected.

You're welcome, @paula_8304! Glad I could help. As I understand it, it means that you are verifying that the AI-generated images in your book don't use or infringe upon protected material (such as recognizable logos, characters, or artwork) and that you have the legal right to use the images commercially. Essentially, it’s your responsibility to confirm the images are original or properly licensed to avoid legal issues with Amazon or third parties. If you have any doubts, please consult with a copyright attorney to make sure your images don't infringe any work by other artists (their intellectual property rights).
