Hello Everyone,

I have started using firefly recently and noticed that often when you make a prompt where people are involved it doesn't really understand what a face should look like. Is there a prompt to get better results?

Firefly is lacking two major features that many other AI generators have implemented to deal with this particular issue. The first is negative prompts - basically telling the AI all the things you don't want in your image. Firefly does allow you include the "[avoid=xxx]" parameter, where XXX is replaced by something you don't want, but it isn't a powerful as propper negative prompting. The second missing feature is including, either optionally or automatically, face correction via one of the dedicated models buitl specifically to do this. Effectively, after generating your initial image it passes the image though the second model to rebuild the face without the distortions. Some of the models are extraordinary and produce amazing faces. Perhaps this will come as part of the inpainting model that is still "in experimentation".

It is curious that for all the adobe money available for firefly, just how far behind they are in the basics.

Hi,

I think that those are all relevant points. I hope you have reported them via the "Erlenmeyer Flask" Section I mentioned before so that this can be fixed?! Hope that helps.

Btw.: The Public beta is at this time only 1,5 month old and there where many things fixed and gets better. So, keep going with good suggestions for improvement. Hope that helps.

regards,
Henrik

Hello,

for this, its important to use the Beta Tools that are given within Firefly beta. Just click on the Erlenmeyer flask and help the Adobe Developers to get better results.

With those in mind you can report this directly to the Developers that the can fix it. Only if people knew what they have to fix they can fix it 😉 That's what a beta program is for, among other things.

Also when looking in this Forum under the point "ideas" you will find all the ideas that people have and also that "Upvotes" for those. You can assume that those with the most Upvotes are also those that gets inspected first to get implemented int one of the next Versions of Firefly. Hope that helps.

regards,
Henrik
