This is the challenge where you get to play with all your favorite tools, and perhaps try out some you’ve never used before.
Imagine a forest populated by elves, mages, and magical creatures. Generate a character from your forest using Firefly, Photoshop, Adobe Express, or text-to-vector in Illustrator to begin. Expand the scene, adjust the lighting and colors, and add elements that help create an illustration for the ages. Save an image, screenshot, or video clip of your final artwork, post it as a reply to this post, and describe your process and which tools you used.
This example uses multiple generated images composited in Photoshop, adjusted with the Camera Raw filter, and fleshed out with Generative Expand and Generative Fill.
There are no prizes other than the joy of creating and the experience gained in making different tools work together to a final creative product. What can you create?

Created multiple images in Firefly and built up the scene using multiple layers in Photoshop, using generative background erase, expland and fill -- final adjustment done in camera raw filter.

Nicely done. I wonder where that mysterious path leads to?

Prompt: A solitary herbalist living in a floating greenhouse above a forest of bioluminescent trees. The sky is twilight purple, and magical creatures fly between the branches. The herbalist tends glowing plants, surrounded by arcane tools and ancient books.
Tools used: Adobe Firefly, Photoshop, Adobe Express
Description: I imagined this scene as part of a larger story—a wandering herbalist who records magical flora in a floating laboratory above the enchanted woods. This image is a glimpse into their world: suspended between botany and mysticism, solitude and cosmic harmony.

Fantastical indeed! The avian character suggests a whole new meaning for the phrase "a quick peck on the cheek."

I particularly enjoyed this challenge because I could combine Firefly with the Parametric filters in Photoshop Beta. People don't even know they exist when they are actually the coolest thing ever. Here goes the Oil Paint filter.

Awesome, Anna! That's a great use of parametric filters, and you're right, the theme totally lends itself to a painterly look.

A mix of several images generated by Firefly, who has a lot of trouble with horse (and unicorn) legs.

That's a great look and seamless compositing, JR. Yes, Firefly definitely struggles with hands, arms, feet, and legs. In general, it seems to do better if the image has only a single character or animal.

A fantasy scene from Middle Earth shows a large eagle flying over a forest scene with hobbits.
Created in Firefly, the image was exported to Photoshop - Camera Raw Filter to make small adjustments - masking tool to increase clarity and texture on the eagle, masking the sky to bring a bit more colour and tone, increase the shadows a bit, and finally using the Filter tool - Stylise - Oil Paint.

That really has the look and feel of a storybook illustration. Beautifully done!

The first one was a portrait generated by Firefly then moved it to Photoshop to do generative expansion and did some retouching to make this last one

There's a somber symmetry in that expansion. Tastefully done.

Yes, Alan, and it rightfully was the idea - to expand the canvas symmetrically so that I can add those in harmony and I am glad it turned out well 🙂

Photoshop Camera Raw is a slice of bread for me :bread:

Firefly has a tendency to produce underexposed and oversaturated images, so that Camera Raw filter gets a lot of use!

Yes, the raw material from Firefly was very flat

Just a little Firefly and Express

It looks like a rough time to be in the post-apocalyptic predator business. They both look like they've had a long day of slim pickings.

Great expand of the original image! Narnia Vs Jurassic Park?
Well done!
