Hi Everyone!
Here's a fun challenge for creating a children's clothing brand logo. Use your creativity to design a logo using Firefly.
I used this prompt in Firefly: "Create a logo for kids' apparel including birds, giraffes, elephants, and fewer leaves, simple."
I clicked Download to download the image to my computer.

I generally do not think that Firefly can work for creating a logo. But it might work as a partner in brainstorming to either isolate the bad ideas or to come up with directions to follow. So here goes:
It's all about zebras for me, particularly yellow-and-pink-striped ones. Reason #1 why Firefly is not suitable for logos: it has issues giving you things that do not exist. It will default to black and white zebras.
I like the one in the top right, but still it's not really a logo. I got some cute characters, but really they were more brand characters than logos. Firefly was also at one point giving me solutions that had text in them.
Again: the zebra is cute, the other solution is off.
It resulted from me wanting to check out what it can do with a more open approach: What does it give me when I don't tell it about zebras? Just about the tonality of my brand? It's not good with associating. Those associations are rather boring.
On top of that all of those results are waaayyy too complex to work as logos. A logo for a clothing brand needs to be suitable to be emdroidered on the tag in the back of a t-shirt. But those results have way too many colors and are much too detailed to work for that. They will need a lot of additional work put into them. To the extent that you basically start from scratch.
Apart from the zebra at the top, here's what I would also consider (edited): I like the childrens' drawing look of it.
and an interesting idea:

Agree with you Monika that Firefly is not great at creating logos. What could be good is if once you create a detailed image with Firefly, you could then tell it to simply it as an illustration. I did the first part of this for this challenge 🙂

I do not think that an A.I. that already had trouble producing something meaningful with a great vibe about the creation just coincidentally will be able to reduce it AND preserve that vibe it got into it in the first place. Because again there will be coincidence about it. And it doesn't know the expression you liked about the creation. So will it preserve that? Probably not.

I was thinking that the AI would be able to simplify the graphic - something like converting a photograph to a vector illustration. The more controls that are available to a human in relation to this conversion, the better - to ensure it does prserve the essense as much as possible.

Much more thought needs to go into that than just what an autotrace can do.
