We’re excited to announce a new Firefly challenge that will take you on a deep dive into the mysterious and magical world beneath the waves.
Imagine the vibrant life and hidden treasures of the ocean. Your scene could include anything from colorful coral reefs and exotic marine creatures to sunken ships and mythical underwater cities. Let your imagination swim wild!
The Prompt I used:- A vibrant underwater world where sunlit coral reefs burst with a castle and bioluminescent colors are visible in the background. I also used structure references for the theme.
I clicked Download to download the image to my computer.
What to Submit:
- Your Images: Images of underwater scene
- Your Prompt: Share the text prompt you used for your creation.

- Please submit your creations by Sep 22, 2024, 12:00 AM PT (GMT+7).
How to Participate
1/ Create Your Image:
- Launch Adobe Firefly and select the Text to Image feature.
- Create a prompt and generate your image. Need ideas? Visit the community tab for inspiration, or ask here for ideas.
2/ Capture Your Creation:
- Once satisfied with your image, click “Share” at the below right corner.
- Select “Copy image” from the drop-down menu.
3/ Submit Your Entry:
- Come back to this thread, click “Reply,” paste your image, and describe the prompt you used.
- Hit “Post” to submit your entry.

PROMPT: Underwater scene with pelagic manta and scuba diver holding an underwater camera, shot late in the afternoon with light rays
I continue to try using Firefly for authentic underwater scenes. However, results are rarely accurate.
In this image, the manta appears to be be breathing off of the diver's regulator!

This was one of those ones that seems like an amazing result at first glance, but it really struggled to do the birds, and totally forgot about my dolphins. Prompt was: "underwater scene showing coral reef teaming with thousands of angel fish, some clown fish, some dolphins, and above the waterline a beautiful tropical island with a volcano on it. In the sky are some seagulls"
