Hey everyone!
We’re delighted to present a creative challenge inviting you to capture the world “Through My Window.” Whether it’s the serene morning light, a bustling cityscape, or a cozy rainy day, we’re eager to see the view from your window!
The prompt I used: Create a serene scene viewed through my window frame. Outside, a vibrant garden blooms with colorful flowers, swaying in the gentle breeze. In the distance, rolling hills glow in the warm light of sunset. Inside, a cozy atmosphere features a well-loved armchair and a small table with a steaming cup of tea, while soft light filters through sheer curtains, adding a dreamy quality."
I clicked Download to download the image to my computer.

My prompt: Create a serene scene viewed through my window frame. Outside, a construction work is happening nearby followed by a gated community filled with houses surrounded by trees of different types of fruits and flowers- make this effect more realistic

I tried to generate one, but the image that I found via firefly was not good enough with the prompt given, so out of 4 image options, I chose this one 😞

A view through my window of flowers made of bacon on a field of waffles
This was inspired by an Instagram post. "I want to grow my own food but I can't find any bacon seeds"

It would be nice if this was my view.
It was challenging to get Firefly to show something through venetian blinds. Often it would have holes in teh blinds. Perhaps it didn't want to take away from the view.
Prompt: view of through window with closed venetian blinds with wooden frame, orange sky, glimpse of sydney harbour and boats

Not my window, just one I loved a lot:
a view into the Chicago cityscape seen from the inside of an L-train on the loop through the side window , winter wonderworld at night, snow falling

Trivia fact: "L" is short for "elevated" 😊

I know. In preparation for my trip to Chicago, I lingered around L history websites, just to figure out the best stations and where to take nice photos. Took me longer than checking out the museums 😄
I stayed at a rather cheap hotel with a nice view on the Harrison curve, which was more of a coincidence though. Loved the sound.
This is the underground train design I grew up with https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/HHA_Typ_DT2 and it's not a coincidence that they look quite similar to the Chicago ones. In Hamburg the underground has originally been called "Hochbahn", which means quite the same as "Elevated". It also looks the same and sounds the same. I felt pretty much at home in Chicago 🙂
