I want to ask about Al Qalam Quran Majeed font, and about its license whether it is free or not for commercial purposes as nothing is mentioned on the website regarding that, Kindly confirm whether I can use it commercially or not... Without purchasing it as I never found its license on any website... SO CAN I Use it freely on Adobe Stock....

Dear Brother,

About Al Qalam Quran Majeed font, I also noticed that there is no clear license information mentioned on most websites. When a font does not clearly state that it is “free for commercial use,” it’s better not to assume that it can be used commercially.

If you are planning to upload or use it on platforms like Adobe Stock, I would strongly recommend first contacting the original creator or checking the official source for a written license. Without proper permission, it could create copyright issues later.

It’s always safer to use fonts that clearly mention Open Font License (OFL) or commercial use permission.

May Allah bless you for being careful about these matters.

You should confirm the licensing terms of the Al Qalam Quran Majeed font with its creators before using it commercially; meanwhile, you can explore the Surah Rehman translation in Urdu for related resources.

The font in question "Al Qalam" is not an Adobe font, I don't see why you are asking us instead of asking the developer (arabicfonts dot net)?

On Adobe fonts it is named as Adobe Naskh

How did you see the resemblance? The font you are referring to Al Qalam Quran is a Nastaleeq style, while Adobe Naskh is a formal Naskh. See the below comparison…

You would need to ask the font foundry.  Whoever created the font owns it and decides how it can be used.

As @Nancy OShea said, you need to ask the foundry or the company who is licensing the font. Where did you find the font?

Anyway, there is no way to include a font in your contributions, except you would outline them, which makes the text uneditable.
