All Styles of Minion Pro Unavailable in InDesign. Licensing Issue, or Corrupt Font Files?

New Here ,

I'm trying to access Minion Pro Bold and Italic in an InDesign document. However, only the Regular style is available despite ALL styles being activated via Fonts.Adobe.com. I've de-activated and re-activated the entire Minion Pro font family both on Fonts.Adobe.com AND using the Creative Cloud desktop app font manager multiple times to no avail. This is incredibly frustrating!

Is anyone else experiencing problems with Minion Pro today? Could the source font files be corrupt in some way? Is there any chance Adobe can fix this issue ASAP?

When you say you're trying to access styles of Minion Pro in an InDesign document are you not able to match the fonts listed in a missing fonts dialog box? Or is Minion Pro not working under any circumstance?

I'm able to sync the 65 font Minion family from Adobe Fonts and get them to show up in the fonts menu within InDesign. Minion 3 is also available at Adobe Fonts. I'm using a Windows-based computer. The synced fonts don't appear to be causing a conflict with the Minion fonts that are bundled into one of the InDesign program folders (Minion Pro regular and Minion Pro Variable Concept Roman and Italic).

Various flavors of Minion have been released over the years in Postscript Type 1, Type 1 Multiple Master, OpenType and OpenType Variable formats. All the different versions can lead to some font substitution headaches.
