I'm having trouble installing a font. It wont sync. Also my fonts icon on creative cloud is missing.
Anyone else experiencing this?
I tried restarting my computer, enabling / disabling the font, logging in and out of CC (both desktop and web). Not sure what else to try.
Turns out Adobe is progressively culling support for older operating systems (pre-2019) across their range of apps and services. My CC desktop app version couldn't update to a newer version as my OS was too old, so I had to bite the bullet and upgrade my OS, and now fonts are working again.

You're not alone -- same issue here. I do have the fonts icon in the creative cloud desktop app, but clicking it doesn't do anything.

Same here. I've tried un-installing, re-installing, signing in, signing out, shutting down, booting up, re-installing again and then making a really strong cup of tea to no avail.

I got the same thing. I am logged in to my account, I have the fonts enabled (they are free fonts such as Lato), but they do not show up in the apps anymore. Well, I solved the problem easily.
Each time it turned out that there was an update to the Adobe CC management application. So, all I have to do is immediately when the Adobe corporation orders, I update the application and they generously allow me to continue working. Wonderful, gracious people.
Interestingly, when an Adobe CC update comes out I have to install it, because without it I can't turn on the application itself to manage Adobe programs (installing/uninstalling individual applications, manage files, plug-ins, etc.).
Of course they don't force me to do anything, I'm not obliged to update Adobe CC, they just take away my ability to install/uninstall their programs , disable access to Fonts, etc., but I still have a choice, I can choose not to update....

This is not uncommon. A change on the backend or fixing a security hole or a new feature will require supporting apps to be upgraded as well. That's WHY they have new versions.
