Font activiation on a new computer

I bougth several fonts - for example Frutiger - to use with Office Products.

I'm not able to download them with the original link from Adobe: www.adobe.com/store/de/popup/software/download_instructions/

How can I install this fonts on my new Computer?

If I have more than 2 installations: How can I deactivate them? I have the computers no longer.

Sorry for the delay in response. If you've the paid subscription of Creative Cloud or Adobe Fonts. You should be able to see the fonts here: https://fonts.adobe.com/search?query=Frutiger&utf8=%E2%9C%93 and be able to activate them.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to download the Adobe Fonts in your computer.

I bought fonts from Adobe to use them in Office Applications (Word). Lots of correspondence with Adobe later... I bought fonts from Adobe in Adobe store that are no longer supportet. So as last point Adobe told me, that I have to "buy" my fonts again through subscription of Creative Cloud. Problems:

- I bought and payed (hundreds of $) for fonts *without expiry date*. Now: "no longer available".

- Not every Font is exactly the same in Creative Cloud; old documents are no longer readable in the original font.

Help is needed. Thank you in advance!

The fonts that you licensed years ago from Adobe are no longer directly licensed by Adobe except as part of the (very expensive) Adobe Font Folio product. The Adobe Fonts service, available with licenses to the Adobe Creative Cloud and Document Cloud products (which temporarily install access to fonts), does not contain most of the fonts of the older Adobe Font Library (i.e., the fonts still available on the Adobe Font Folio).

Given that your original purchase from Adobe was a perpetual license to use those fonts, you certainly may install the corresponding font files on your new computer.

I think that the problem that you seem to have is that you expect to be able to download those fonts again from Adobe. That is what is not possible anymore. Adobe is under no obligation to indefinitely provide “backup copies” of software products that you licensed long ago; this is common industry practice.

What I would recommend is that you retrieve those font files from your backups of your old computer that had those fonts installed and install the fonts from those files on your new computer system. That would solve the problem and is perfectly kosher! You do backup your computer regularly and keep those backups, correct?

Thanks for your advice! That was a good idea - until now every time I took my fonts from Adobe. But I found them on my computer backup as well.
