I need to send a complete INDESIGN file with the fonts. How to do with adobe fonts if the printer does not have the latest version (I can't vectorise fonts, the printer must make an English and Spanish version)
Fonts are collected using the package function.
However, provided by Adobe Fonts is not collected.
It is necessary to synchronize with the other party that opened the data.
Adobe Fonts is a cloud-based font service. As the previous response indicated, by design, fonts sourced from Adobe Fonts cannot be packaged. If you are send an InDesign document to another designer or a print service provider using the same or a newer version of InDesign, they should be able to access the same fonts that you are using via their subscription to the Creative Cloud. Obviously, if you are sending content for printing, a better solution would be to send a PDF/X-4 file exported from the InDesign document in which case the fonts would be embedded in the PDF file itself!)
If you really need to have the font files themselves as assets in your InDesign package, the Adobe Fonts service is probably not appropriate for you. In this case, you would need to separately license the fonts from the foundries that created the fonts or companies that retail the fonts for them.
