The Gotham font family in Adobe Fonts has 64 styles compared to 66 styles at Hoefler&Co. It seems this may be an oversight instead of intentional, but it seems slightly strange. The two styles missing are:
I don't see a way to inquire about this through support (I'm told to contact the support person in my organization). You think someone just missed the 2 files to get loaded, or that there is more to this? It would be nice to have access to the whole complete family.

Hi @maca60807016
I suspect these may have just been additions to the family after Adobe had licensed the font or not included because of some type of licensing reason. I'll inquire with our font team and see if they have any more details.
Thanks,
Dave

The Extra Light and Extra Light Italic styles of Gotham XNarrow have been present in the overall Gotham family before Monotype acquired the Hoefler Type Foundry, and even before the acrimonious split between Tobias Frere Jones and Jonathan Hoefler (Frere Jones is the actual designer behind Gotham).

I think the two missing XNarrow Extra Light styles of Gotham could be yet another limitation in the deal Monotype made with Adobe to license some of the type families it owns through Adobe Fonts. At least this is a fairly minor limitation.
Some of the other Monotype type families at Adobe Fonts are missing even more styles. For instance Helvetica Neue at Adobe Fonts has only 14 styles. The complete family has around 50 styles. Certain families like Agency Gothic or New Haas Grotesk at Adobe Fonts include all styles. The situation is hit or miss.
I'm kind of surprised Monotype even bothered to make a deal with Adobe Fonts. Monotype has its own competing fonts subscription service. It looks like Monotype is holding out on some of its other popular font families, such as Helvetica Now. I don't like how Monotype bought the MyFonts web site; they also bought a few rival sites like Fonts.com and FontShop only to shutter them.
Before the Monotype acquisition, MyFonts used to offer some really great pricing deals on fonts. We're talking introductory discounts up to 90% off the normal price. All of those pricing deals vanished once Monotype took over the site and launched its own subscription fonts service. Sell-thru prices on quite a few well known families actually rose. My fonts buying activity at the MyFonts web site has dropped off to nearly nothing in response. Another drawback of the Monotype take-over: a decent number of type designers and independent type foundries removed their font libraries from the MyFonts site. Yellow Design Studio is one example. I bought several Yellow Design packages at MyFonts for bargain prices (such Sant'Elia Script, Draft, Eveleth, Sucrose, Veneer, Thirsty Script and more). None are available at MyFonts anymore. They can be purchased at Yellow Design Studio's own web site. Some of Yellow Design Studio's fonts are available thru Adobe Fonts, although the type families are limited style selections.
