Some of the fonts from Google can have had odd behavioral quirks. One thing you could try is downloading Montserrat from the Google Fonts web site and installing those fonts into Windows. Also be sure to remove the version of Montserrat you have synced via Adobe Fonts. There is also a variable version of Montserrat available at Google Fonts, but Variable Fonts are not well supported in PDF documents. I don't use MS Office apps, so I don't know how well they support variable fonts.
I believe Google issues minor updates to the fonts on their site from time to time. They could have a newer or just different build of Monteserrat that might work better. More often than not I've had to use the Adobe Fonts version of a Google typeface because the version downloaded from Google Fonts wasn't working right. Sometimes the glitches can work in the other direction.

Hi,
I am also coming across this problem - to solve it I have had to change the font fill to a gradient ie. black > black and it has exported. However, this is not ideal and the hyphens don't display correctly.
Has anyone got any further with understanding this problem? I have uninstalled Google and used adobe Montserrat and vice versa to no avail. Very frutrating problem as I can't change the font because it is aligned with the clients branding.
TIA

Hi
@SofPPTcreative,
Welcome to the community! We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please share the file with us so we can check further? Also, to confirm, is the text using the Montserrat font not exporting correctly (likely disappearing or displaying incorrectly), especially with hyphens?
Regards,
Tarun
