I'm in postproduction for a film using Premiere Pro. For the credits I have chosen a font that comes with Premiere called Palatino Linotype. I got in touch with the folks at Linotype and asked what their licensing terms were for this kind of project when using Adobe software, and they said that it's a question for Adobe.
Does anybody have the answer?
This is the community for the Adobe Fonts service. Palatino Linotype is not a font provided by that service.
In terms of Adobe Premiere, Palatino Linotype is absolutely not bundled with that application or any other Adobe application. If it is installed on your system, it is because it is in fact bundled with Microsoft Windows. Assuming that is the case, you need to contact Microsoft to ascertain whether there are any special licensing issues for using that font for static text in a film.
