"An error occurred while trying to add all fonts. Some fonts may not be added."

I was able to add an abobe font earlier today, but for the past hour, I have been getting this error: 

"An error occurred while trying to add all fonts. Some fonts may not be added."

I tried adding it from Illustrator, then from the website—got the error. I turned fonts off and on in the creative cloud app. Same error.  I've tried a dozen different fonts with the same outcome. Anyone know of a solution?

Man, this is a really, really big issue – it's impacted my work in a suprisingly large way. It stopped my workflow since yesterday. We are all literally at the mery of Adobe to resolve this issue. Prayers that this gets resolved today and that Adobe's team pull through quickly.

I spoke with someone who came back to me through the Adobe Virtual Assistant this morning at 10:22 who said "there is maintenance going on today regarding Adobe Fonts … Our team is working on it and it will be fixed within 'several hours'."

It's 21:12 now and I am still unable to activate fonts for an urgent job that had a deadline at midday today.
