Typeface not rendering correctly in some devices: XP, Fujitsu

New Here ,
Mar 04, 2025 Mar 04, 2025

Hi,

I'm using Degular display for headlines and Degular text for body imported in a wordpress website using Avadas custom font feature. In my Mac computer the typeface looks perfect in all browers, tested in Chrome, Firefox, Arc and Safari. In XP and Fujitsu however the typeface looks broken, some letters are cut out, for example p, the g's and e's are being squezeed, etc see photos.

How can I fix this? Anyone experienced these issues before?

If supporting XP is important, you could consider testing a few adjustments, such as:

  • Trying a different font size or color for better contrast

  • Switching to another typeface that renders more cleanly on XP

Tarun
