Hi! I recently received this error when trying to render a project from After Effects CC 2018 in Adobe Media Encoder. I've tried a few times and also with the built in After Effects Render Queue but no results. Some have suggested on other posts (with different error codes) to turn off GPU Acceleration or change the codec. Im gonna try those later, but for now do you have any other suggestions?

Hi HRadillo,

I am sorry that you are facing trouble in rendering your composition from Media Encoder.

My first thought would be to check the composition around timecode: 00:00:28:01.

Is there any specific effect or a transition used around that?

I request you to try a couple of troubleshooting steps from this help document.

How to fix issues that cause errors when rendering or exporting

Thanks,

Kulpreet Singh

So I got the same Selector: 9 Error code: -1609629695 error in premiere and I think I've found a solution for me, but no idea if it works in relations to you.

I had two separate clips with a bunch of effects on each. I added an adjustment layer, and applied the effects that work on the adjustment layer, and then nested each adjustment layer with each individual clip. I am currently past my normal error spot and it seems to be exporting.

Hello try this:

  1. Start --> Run --> Type in "Regedit"
  2. Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers" and create a key of type "DWORD (32-bit)" and name "TdrDelay" with a value of 8 as Decimal value.

It gives the GPU 8 seconds to recover/respond vs. 2 seconds (default).

It fixed this issue for me...

I have had this problem for a couple of days!

I moved the files closer to the root!

Example:

C:\music videos\2018\artist name\folder 01

↑ This is too deep in the files

Try this

C:\folder 01

Close then re-open the program.

Relocate the files which you should have replaced into

C:\Folder    ← This should work!

This instantly worked for me!

I had the same error. None of the solutions offered in the different threads about this topic worked for me. What eventually solved it was replacing Gaussian Blur on some layers with Fast Box Blur.
