I was rendering Animated Gifs without any issues, and then all of a sudden they are rendering twice when using Media Encoder. I was first redering from Premiere and my first version of the gif came out fine. I made some small edits on the timeline and then rendered again. Now for some reason when it renders, the Gif has the video twice. I checked the timeline and the output settings in Media Encoder, but I can't see any settings i may have accidently changed.
As a test, I went to After Effects and created a simple 10 second comp with text moving around. When I rendered to an Animated Gif again, I still get the same issue. So this tells me that it is somthing to do with Media Encoder.
All of my Adobe Apps are updated to 2023 latests. Are there any settings i am missing that is causing this?
The attached files were my work-in-progress renders I made:
Ships v01.gif: Is the first WIP test I did and rendered fine
Ships v02.gif: Is what is happening now (I edited the video a bit more before trying the next render)
Thanks!

Ok, I think I just had a SLT (Sudden Lack of Talent). Looks like the preview during the render is doing 2 passes which made me think it was rendering twice. Of course when I open/play the gif, it is auto looping, so I can't verify when it is ending.
So in the end there is no issue.

You were right the first time - it is rendering GIFs twice for some reason. Can't figure out why....?
