When converting a 1920x1080 video to h.264 at 400x224 800kbps avg, 1mbps max the quality of the conversion is insanely poor compared to other encoders. Text in particular becomes blotchy, soft and/or excessively low contrast. When using other encoding programs with the same setting the text quality is far more crisp and distinct. Quality in general is much better.
Anyone have any ideas on how to improve ME quality when exporting to a very small video size like this? Does ME just not do tiny video size well or is there something I'm missing?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
