Latest release of Media Encoder changed color scheme to more contrasty version. It is paradoxically now harder to read. Earlier versions had much nicer and more polished color scheme. I wish Adobe wouldn't change interface so much and instead concentrate on optimization and speed.

This look has been in the AME public beta versions for a bit, so I'm finally used to it, but I agree, it's not my favorite. I think it has been toned down a bit (or maybe I really did just get used to it), but I suspect we can expect this to trickle through to the other apps eventually. There's actually an entire team that manages and develops the UI framework of the DVA (digital video and audio apps), so this work is at least completely separate from any that's done on optimization and speed.

I cannot agree with this enough. The new colour scheme is VERY hard to look at it and makes the UI look cluttered and confusing.
