Media Encoder Error When Encoding Large File

Hello, Media Encoder stops encoding with an error while trying to recode a 142 GB file. Meanwhile, VLC does the job without problems. My problem is that this file is part of a Premiere project and I am afraid Media Encoder will crash trying to render that Premiere project. Any idea or tip would be appreciated.

Here is the error I get:

Error retrieving frame 19389 at time 14:04:30:09 from the file: c3.mov, substituting frame 19388

I'm having the same problem. The source file is 140.01 GB in my case, a 4K ProRes 422 HQ file. I get a line like this in the Media Encoder log:

Error retrieving frame 19661 at time 19:37:48:05 from the file: /Volumes/RAID10 Array CH/Blackmagic Production Camera 4K_1_2015-05-01_1924_C0001.mov_with_Audio Recorder 1_1.mov, substituting frame 19660

The encode just stops at that point.

Have you found a solution or workaround?

Hi! I found that my problem was related to the old graphics card limited
memory(GTX 760). I had to close all other applications and have only media
encoder running. That solved my problem.

Usually, the problem arises from insufficient resources, mostly video
memory. Try closing all aps, removing hungry effects or prerender them (in
my case, some blurr effects were very memory hungry).

Hope this helps!
Cheers!
