Hello, I recently updated the new version v25 of media encoder and videos that usually export in a few minutes are now taking hours. I am exporting from After effects and have used the same process / settings as previous versions, so dont undertand what is going wrong. Any help would be much appreciated to resolve this. I have attached a screenshot of a current export. Thank you.
Yep. Loading the project in AME 25 Beta now and not having the issue anymore, however I cannot send the sequences directly from PP until the update makes it to release

I uninstalled all instances of Premiere and AME. Then I installed PP 25.1, which automatically installs AME 25.2. I send my projects to AME via PP, and videos render as expected now.

How'd the exporting with Adobe Media Encoder go? Was it still extremely slow, or back to normal (the same speed as exporting with Premiere Pro)?

What are your specs (OS, CPU, GPU, memory)? Would you be able to share a project for us to repro? I can private message you the instructions in this forum.

Mac OS M2 Pro, 16 gb membory. This is so long ago that I don't even remember the project.
I can't begin to try this bad version and will wait for the next one. Seems really crazy to put out such a faulty update.

I'm on an i7-12700, 32GB RAM, with a Radeon Pro W6600.
I'd be happy to send a project.

I read the first post and that was dated January on 2025. Its now July of 2025 and you guys at Adobe still don't have this resolved. this is absolutely unacceptable !

I've been running the 25.1 setup described above since this post with no encoding issues. I was interested in the new Premiere features in 25.5, though, so I upgraded to that version hoping the issue was resolved. I hit the same wall. Encoding takes a very long time in AME. I actually had to stop it. ~60 minute video was encoding for over 24 hours and wasn't even half-way done. AME was not frozen, it was running, but there was obviously something wrong and it had to be stopped.
I applied the same workaround described in this thread - uninstalled 25.5 PP and AME, reboot, installed 25.1 PP. This time, the 25.1 PP install automatically initiates the 25.6 AME install. I decided to try it anyway and the video encodes as expected.
I'm running the same system as described earlier in this thread.
I can only conclude, IMHO, that something changed with the way AME reads project files created in PP versions newer than 25.1. In my case, AME doesn't seem to be the issue.
@EckiAME, I'm just now seeing that you sent me a private message requesting a sample project. I'm sorry I missed this before. I can send this along now with this new project if you think this will help.
Any help would be apprecaited...this is very frustrating and time consuming.

on my side it was "Resolume DXV" plugin that was slowing down the whole thing.
