Media Encoder never opens

Since Media Encorder 2023 version, I can't open the software whatever I do.
I tried via the dynamic link of Aftrer Effects : don't open

I tried via the Cloud : don't open

I tried open Media Encoder directly : don't open

Each time, I have to unsinstall and reinstall the software to get it works.

But it works only once and then it fails again.

Is there anybody who has the same problem?

It started a few month ago when I installed the 2023 version.

I had the same problem using Trend Miro Interent Security as my Virus checker. If this is the case try adding the folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder into the Exception List if you are using Trend Miro Interent Security. You will probably have to add C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects 2023\Support Files\AfterFX.exe if you use After Effects. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately I'm on Mac with no antivirus software. So I keep searching!

Hi there, I have the same issue of the Media Encoder ALWAYS crashes whener I try to open it. it stresses me out and I'm using windows 11 + updated all of the Adobe apps, please help!

I have been struggling with both After Effects and Media Encoder errors for a while, just crossing my fingers on every launch. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, updating, graphics drivers... Everything I could find that was suggested but nothing worked. I never would have thought Trend Micro could be to blame. So thanks again!
