Media encoder stuck at 00:00

When I try to export a video from After Effects, media Endocer gets stuck at the very end... I've tried alll kinds of settings, the same thing... When I try to export only video or only audio, then it works no problem. So the issue is probably there, but I have no idea what to do...

Super late reply, but you might want to check your disk drive usage. I noticed when mine hangs the drive I'm outputting to is 99-100% in use. However, mine get's stuck anywhere from a few seconds to tens of minutes depinding on size of the video.

Also: can you try pause and play?

I can but that doesn't help. I'm not bothered by this as I think it is writing to the disk and finishing up. The encoder eventually proceeds to the next video in the queue. If I watch the graph of the disk usage in task manager I can see a drop in usage once the next video begins and then it stays at 100% until it's finished.

Maybe Adobe could work this out and show the "real" progress including the time when the encoding is done but it's still writing something to the disk.

I left it at that state for about half and hour, still didn't render...

Only thing I cand do, and that I did is - export audio and video sepparately, and then stiched them back together in a new file... Which is a lot of extra work.

Maybe it's the RAM issue? It's always at over 90% when rendering. I turned off AE and left only ME on, RAM was at 70%, but still the same issue.

I have 16Gb or RAM, the composition itself is 30 seconds long and consists of about 10 adio files and a lot of transitions/animations/effects and video files. End file should probably be about 30Mb's at high bitrate, so it's not really all that complex.
