Media Encoder will no longer compress videos from Premiere Pro

(Apologies if this has been posted up before, - if so, please point me to the solution!)

No matter what format I choose to batch export from Premiere Pro (H264, ProRes, etc, etc), it takes an absolute age to load into Media Encoder, and when I hit "Go", a simple 5 second video (for example) then proceeds to take half an hour to export ... and then gets flagged up as Failed. (This has only started to happen since I upgarded to the latest versions about a month ago.)

This is driving me NUTS!! I have hundreds of files to export today and having to export them one by one out of Premier as ProRes files, and then having to compress those using Media Encoder (it seems to like pre-exported ProRes files, it just won't export ANYTHING if sent from Premiere directly) into the various formats is quadrupling the speed at which I can work.

Basically, if I set up a batch export from Premier Pro into Media Encoder, no matter what the file format is, Media Encoder falls on its arse.

Can you open the log (Ctrl/Cmd + L or click the word "failed"), scroll to the bottom, and post what the error is? I find these errors are usually pretty helpful.

Also, if you go into the AME Prefs, are you importing Premiere projects natively or is that pref unchecked?
