Hi,

I have a very annoying issue with my MP4/H264 export. When working on After Effects, the colors of my gradient are great (export1 image) soap circus0000.png, but I can't export it in MP4 without a significant loss in quality, pixelated effects and glitches (export2 image), whatever I try.

It works well in MOV/AppleProRes format, but unfortunately the player which I use to display the video on a screen supports only MP4.

Does someone have an idea how to fix this?

H.264 is a compressed format and you're going to lose a lot of quality on fast moving images with gradients. You have to allow the encoder to apply more data to your export. What settings are you using when exporting? If you're using a preset, start with the Adaptive High Bitrate preset and see if that gives you a better result.
