Proxy files export as black screen

I'm operating on a Macbook Pro 2017, 8GB of RAM, 1536mb on the graphics card. I'm using the latest version of Premiere and ME.

I exported my whole bin of .MOV files from the ARRI Alexa Mini. All the files are video only. Most footage comes out normal, but about 5 or 6 files when expoted as proxies export as only a black screen. I tried changing the settings and only exporting single clips, it seems like ME is intent on exporting a blank screen for these specific clips. I don't think it has anything to do with length of the clips, because some of my longest clips exported fine. It seems to have chosen the clips to mishandle at random.

Let me know if any of you have experienced something like this.

Thanks!

Fixed the issue!

I created a custom ingest preset to Pro Res 244 Proxy and made sure the files were relabeled .proxy and plugged that into the proxy creation window. I had to redo my proxies, but it made sure all the proxy files were the same format.

Hope this helps anyone with similar problems!

Hi, same issue here, I've been working off my custom ingest presets and it still didn't work - exactly the same footage, Arri Alexa Mini.

I'm thinking it might have something to do with premiere automatically loading master effect (the Rec.709 LUT in my case). The files are fine if I try exporting them manually in AME, but as soon as I try to ingest a proxy, I get a black video.

Just changed the Mercury Playback to Software only and it's working. Seems weird as I work on a new iMac Pro 2017, 3.2 GHx Xeon W, 32GB RAM, Radeon Pro Vega 56 8GB...

Anyone, any idea what might cause it?
