Question about GeForce GTX 1080 Ti render with CUDA

I have Geforce GTX 1080Ti as GPU

My pc build is

Ryzen 7 1700(3.9ghz)

Ram 32 GB Bus 2400

Window 10 Home 64 bit

Nvidia Driver version 384.94

I've rendering My video at 1920x1080

with Adobe media encoder using CUDA

My GPU load peak at 27% (usually at 0-20%) Monitor with HWMonitor

I've Tried To render Without using CUDA same project i used almost 1 hour 20 mins

in CUDA enable is 1 hour  10 mins

Is it Normal?

It may very well be normal.  Not all effects are GPU accelerated.

What are your source media file types and codecs and sequence settings?

What effects are applied?

Encoding is a CPU centric process in Premiere Pro & Adobe Media Encoder.

Some effects can take advantage of the processing power of a certified graphics card to accelerate rendering.

The GPU will only accelerate the following in the export process: scaling, frame conversion, blending modes, deinterlacing, and color space conversion.

The GPU will also accelerate the processing of GPU based video effects, including the Lumetri color effect.

Example:

    • If you are encoding a 4K file to a 4K HEVC H.265 file, GPU acceleration is not engaged in the exporting process because no scaling was used.

    • If you are encoding a 4K file to a HD H.264 file, the GPU acceleration is engaged in the exporting process because scaling was needed.

If your GPU is disabled or "grayed out" and it has capable specs, then that is a different troubleshooting problem.
