S-Log 3 color profile being blown out when converting .mxf files to prores 422

Hello,

I recently shot a short on the Sony FX6. I shot 4k DCI with s-log 3 and the s.gamut3.cine color and ei profiles. When I convert the mxf files to prores 422 for the editing process the saturation and contrast blow up. I have read that the 2022 versions of Me and Pr have this issue of reating s-log as an HDR file, is there a fix to this in Me?

Hey armeineckeDP,

Can you let us know which version of Media Encoder you are currently using? Are you having this issue with a specific file type or all files? Could you share your output settings with us? Also, please set your export Preset to Apple ProRes 422 HQ HLG and let us know if that makes any difference.
