Can anyone explain why when I import .VOB files into Adobe Media Encoder CC 2018 to export as MPEG2 (match source - high bitrate) I can't play the encoded file?
The encoding takes place and I can see the .mpg thumbnail view in Media Browser but I can't open the file in 'reveal in explorer' (Windows 10).

What will the exported file be used for? MPEG-2 is largely obsolete for delivery, replaced by the more efficient and more universally playable .mp4 format - could you export to H.264 instead?
Thanks
