I am a high school video and animation teacher working with animate, after effects, and AME to make animation and motion graphics.
Previously we had no difficulty brining gifs or other image sequences into after affects and rendering the compositions. However, more often than not, when we try to export the videos (via adobe media encoder) we just get a black screen. When rendering the video in AME the preview/animation is visible and it seems as though it will render normally. However, the screen is often black. We have tried rendering in PRO res instead of h.264 but this does not seem to work. I have worked with AE and AME for years and this has never been an issue before...it seems like others have been having the same problem. We recently uninstalled and reinstalled the newest versions and we are encountering the same problem.
