I ended up having an Adobe technician look at my computer for a while when I had this problem. They did stuff to it for a few hours and then somehow the export worked.

Of course, the next time I opened the program myself, I was back to square one. "Failed to create encoder."

The only thing I've found that seemed to help is that I always make sure that Adobe Premiere Pro is being run as an administrator. Not sure if that will help in Media Encoder, but it's worth a shot.

Hi Nicoleb,

But now I can't import mp4 files at all, it only imports the audio.

What is the source of your media files?

Make sure source video and audio is patched in the Timeline, check this link:

FAQ: Why does audio or video not go to the track where I drop it?

I converted all my files to AVI and i finally could import them but whenever i tried to export it i got the following error:

Please check this link and try mentioned troubleshooting steps/workarounds.

Hi JoshD,

Are you not able to import Video in Premiere Pro or you are not able to drag it on the Timeline?

I would suggest you to clean the Media Cache and re-import your media files. FAQ: How to clean media cache files?

Also, check this link: FAQ: Why does audio or video not go to the track where I drop it?

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks,

Thanks for confirming that our support team was able to help you in exporting that video.

It is always recommended to run Adobe apps with administrative privileges on your computer.

Let me know if you have any other query.
