I'm seeing 'Connection Failed'. What can I do to troubleshoot?

If you’re encountering a ‘Connection Failed’ message, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Clear browser cookies: Try clearing your browser cookies and signing in again. Follow the instructions for your specific browser:

2. Check browser extensions & ad blockers: Ensure that none of your browser extensions are causing the issue. Try removing any extensions that you recently installed, after which you started experiencing this issue, and then sign in again. Additionally, if you're using ad blockers, ensure you don't have any custom rules that are intercepting requests to Adobe.

3. Verify VPN settings: If you’re using a VPN, it might be affecting your connection. Temporarily disable the VPN and check if the issue persists.

4. Check firewall and network proxy settings: If you have configured firewalls and network proxies that block access to essential Adobe services, it can cause issues with Adobe Podcast.

Hi @timur_5348, I'm sorry to hear you're still having trouble with this issue. What type of OS are you using, and what browser are you using?

If you're experiencing issues with Adobe Podcast due to firewall restrictions, here's how I resolved it:

  1. Go to Settings > Windows Security > Firewall & Network Protection.
  2. Select your active network (e.g., Public Network).
  3. Turn Microsoft Defender Firewall OFF.

This immediately resolved the issue for me.

:warning: Important Note: Turning off the firewall can leave your system vulnerable. After using Adobe Podcast, I recommend turning the firewall back on and adding Adobe to the allowed apps list:

  • Go to Firewall & Network Protection > Allow an app through firewall.
  • Select Adobe applications from the list and enable both Private and Public.

I hope this helps others facing the same problem! 😊
