Change from Sequential to Parallel

New Here ,
Feb 07, 2018 Feb 07, 2018

If I set a document up for sequential and sent it out for signatures but now need parallel, can I change it after the fact? If not, my option seems to delete and add a new document.

Thanks

Derek

Hi Derek,

The workflow of the agreement is baked into the agreement itself once it is sent.

So if it's configured as sequential, there is no way to alter that workflow after it is sent.

You are correct in that the only option at this point is to cancel the existing agreement, and then resend with a parallel workflow.

This is pretty disapointing... Adobe should arrange a different way to do this and change it on the fly (using your words: a "rebaking").

When you first enter the recipients' email address, you must select "more options".  Then you will be given a list of their addresses with a little radio button above that allows you to choose "Complete in Any Order".  It took me forever to find this.  If you do not make the selection at this point, I don't think there is any way to get back to it.  After you have spent a big chunk of time specifying where each recipient is to sign (in my case I am sending rental agreements and every page is initialed by the landlord and each renter) if you have not already selected the "Complete in Any Order", you will have to start all over, even though you did not yet send the docs out for signature.  At least, that is my experience.

Hi @marks25865969

unfortunately, I don't have any "more options" to select either...

Seems like I'm stuck with sequence workflow.
