Creating template will not create fields

I have uploaded a PDF of a form we want to make fillable and then turn into a weblink. When i upload the form it does not give me the option to detect fields or to create them?

Hi, 

If you are "uploading" the form directly from the "Publish a Web Form" link on the dashboard there is a checkbox at the bottom of that page called "Preview and Add Signature Fields" - make sure that is checked. That will take you to the drag and drop page where you can add fields. 

If that checkbox is "missing" go to your Account Tab >>> Account Settings >>> Send Settings: On this page go to: 

• Preview, position signature or add form fields:
  • Allow senders to modify document preview settings per document - MAKE SURE THIS BOX IS CHECKED.
