I may be interested in using EchoSign, but how does one actually create the Physical Signature? I see in the videos you type name of keyboard and it come out looking hand written. Do I have to submitt a hand written form of my handwriting with all the upper and lower case letters and numbers and and symbols?
Hi,
To upload an image of your handwritten signature, go to the Account tab and select Personal Preferences > My Signature. From there you have the option to either create a signature or initial by drawing it with your mouse or by uploading an image.

Hi,

To upload your signature to EchoSign, you must first scan it into your computer to get an image of the signature. Once you have the image, you should crop out as much of the white space around the signature as possible. The entire uploaded image will be displayed, and if your image contains a lot of padding on the edges, it will make the actual signature appear smaller on the final documents.
You can upload your signature image from your Account tab, in the My Signature section of the Personal Preferences. The image can be a PNG, JPG, GIF or BMP format, and should be at least 60 pixels tall and up to 600 pixels wide.

Hi Jat ATS,
Well I followed the procedure of signature as mentioned above but my questions are as follows:
1. After the document is completed signing, one gets a copy of teh document to download. Now after downloading the document, I saw that I can copy and paste the "handwritten signature"pic and paste it in word file.
2. I saw that the permissions of the downloaded PDF file allowed to copy contents instead of protecting the signatures.
3. I am a part of an association where I need to send many documents in a month by courier for getting the physical handwritten signatures of the members. Its time consuming.
4. But if the signatues of mine and that of the members can be copied then I am afraid no one will agree to sign documents online.
5. Is there a way to protect the handwritten signatures files like JPEG, PNG, TIFF format. This way I can ask the members to sign the agreement freely without the fear of "copying and pasting"their signatures.
Is there a solution for this in Adobe Sign. Please let me know.
