I would like to insert the electronic signature on several places of a pdf document in a simultaneous way. That is to say that when we sign on page 1, the other pages are also signed.
I have the impression that this function is not part of the basic functions but using Javascript, is there a way to create this function?
Thanks for help ahead ...

Hi Jeanc,

If you are trying to add the signature across the pages on the document, it depends on how the PDF form is created.

If the form fields in the PDF form have the same name, you will just need to add signature at one place and it will get autofilled in other fields.

In this case, you can use Adobe Acrobat DC to create the duplicate form fields in the PDF form. Refer to the steps provided below:

- Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat DC

- Go to Prepare Form tool

- Add the signature field on one page.

- Right click on the signature field and click on Duplicate across pages.

If you are referring this to be done in Adobe Sign, there is no option to add a signature automatically on multiple fields on the document.

You will need to manually add the signature on each page.

Hope the information helps.

Let us know if you have any question.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Thank you for your message but the solution you are proposing is not working. Because signature fields can not be duplicated or have the same name. These signature fields do not have the same properties as other text or image fields.

Just a note that I hope these are not digital signatures (certificate based). These always belong to the whole document, and the concept of adding them "to a page" or duplicating them or repeating them isn't just missing from the apps, it's not possible by design, and absolutely unnecessary. If you're dealing with "wet" signatures/scribbles/stamps it's another story.

It's does not seem unnecessary as I read a lot of people actually requesting this. Formerly, we initialised a contract on every single page and I really need a replacement for this. A stamp or auch does not do the job.

Hi Majo259978810yev,

Thank you for reaching out.

You may use Acrobat Sign to add a digital signature on each document page.

However, adding fields at once on all pages is impossible.

If you wish, you may share your suggestion about this with the product team using the following feature form: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
