Hi,

We are looking at swapping from DocuSign to Adobe sign. It looks brilliant and the only issue we are having is that being accountants when we add in a tax return it is taking the client through each field in the tax return instead of just directly to the signing parts of the document.

Is there any way around this? We know there is a way to scroll past this so you don't have to go through each field but it would confuse our end user and it would be much easier to have this avoided in total.

Would appreciate any assistance.

Hi Debbiet,

You can mark the text fields as "Read-only" when you send the document for signature.

While sending the document from Adobe Sign account, check the box for Preview and signature fields on the Send page. See the screenshot below:

A pop window will appear with the options. There you will find the box for "Read-only". See the screenshot of the option below:

Check that box for each field for which you wish the user not go through while signing the document.

So, when the user will open the form it will go through only those fields which are needed to be filled.

Check if that work for you.

Let us know if you are referring to something else or need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi
