A file created on Windows will not open on OSX.

I filed this as a bug as well, with no response. This appears to only be an issue with the most recent PC release version.

An XD file created on a Windows machine will not open on my OSX machine. I get this error:

"This file was created with a newer version of Adobe XD. This version of the file format is incompatible. Please upgrade your version of Adobe XD to open this file."

Both machines have the most up to date operating system and more importantly the most up to date version of Adobe XD. Keep in mind this was not an issue before the most recent PC update.

I've tried multiple workarounds that do not yield results.

2.0!!

Looks like Creative Cloud updater was not working. I was stuck on v1.x. I had to uninstall XD and reinstall.

Thanks

Hello,

I just attempted to reproduce this with the latest Windows and Mac versions and I could not reproduce. These were the versions I tested with:

- Windows: 2.1.32.11

- Mac: 2.0.32.10

I simply created a file on Windows, saved it, and opened it on Mac. Is there anything more to it?

Additionally, a new (feature-enhancing) version of XD will be coming out for Mac/Win early next week.

Thanks,

-Daniel

Glad it was a relatively easy fix!

FYI - every (planned) XD release increments the major version number. So next one will be 3.0, etc. Similar to Chrome versioning.

Cheers,

-Daniel
