Adding import buttons to a photo app

Hey Forum, I'm new to the whole designing and programming side of the internet and require some help.

I'm trying to create a photo storage app for a school assignment on App Design and I can't find any information on how to add an import button to my Gallery page.

This import button would allow the user to add their own photos from their iPhone or Android photo library.

If there's any helpful links or pages that could be of assistance or anyone on here knows of any ways to help, that would be greatly appreciated

Hi Adriaan,

From what I understand, you are trying to add a button in your application. Is App Design the name of the software you are using to build your application? Or are you creating a prototype in Adobe XD where you would like to show the functionality of the import photos button?

- If you want the code to create a functional "import" button, then you will need to check that in a coding forum. You can create the button itself in software such as Photoshop or Illustrator.

- If you are creating a prototype in Adobe XD that shows the functionality of the button, go through tutorials on Adobe XD. You should be able to do this on  your own. The following videos should help you get started.
