I just voted for the prototype password protection feature a couple of days ago. My client didn't want to work with the unprotected project.
So, I was so excited this morning when I got an email from Adobe saying that the password protection was implemented in the new release!
I made a huge mistake, emailing my client immediately with the good news - without checking it out first
Then, I have updated my XD, but when I was trying to publish my prototype... I still got the old "Publish Prototype" dropdown menu, with nothing about password protecting. It looks like the old dropdown, not like the screenshot presented here: Feature summary | April 2018 and March 2018 releases of Adobe XD
I have uninstalled the XD completely, and installed it again. Same
Any ideas? PLEASE HELP!!! I already promised my client I'm protecting his prototype...
Thanks,
Nic

Strange, I see it in the Mac version. Just checking Windows 10...
Ok, I see it there too. To confirm that you're seeing the new version, are you seeing this where the Tutorial used to be?

Colin, I'm not sure what was the question. I can see the tutorial.

That answers the question. If you see the tutorial you're not using the latest version. That part of the screen has been taken over by an Open PSD option.
Did you at some point make a shortcut, that could be opening the previous version?

Can you let us know about whether you are seeing the new feature? Also, can you verify the version number of your app and confirm that it is Adobe XD 7?
Thanks,
Preran

Preran,
I have uninstalled the XD6 again, and installed the 7 anew. Now all works, I have the 7th version.
Probably, it didn't install properly the first two attempts.
Thanks!!!

Just to be sure, password protection isn't enabled for design specs yet.
If you are trying to password protect a regular prototype, can you let us know that you are following the workflow here.
