Adobe XD: Opening project shows black screen

Hello there,
I'm facing this issue that whenever I'm opening a project, the project canvas becomes all black. All the other tool options are still there but the canvas is just black and I can't see any artboards and designs. I've attached a picture below.
Tried these:
• Logged out and logged in again
• Uninstalled and re-installed Adobe XD from CC
Version: 35.1.12.5 (Starter), Creative Cloud Sync 4.3.63.1
Please help asap, thanks!
