Adobe XD Requires the Microsoft Store?

Good Morning,

The company I work for has disabled the Microsoft Store on Windows 10.  We have been using the Creative Cloud since around the time it was released, and only recently noticed an issue with Adobe XD on Windows 10.  When attempting to open Adobe XD we are presented with a blank white screen and the application close within a few moments.

I haven't seen any discussion here about the Microsoft Store being required for Adobe XD to run, however I was sent the following information found in a reddit post.  can someone provide specifics?

Thanks

I've been checking around the web for solutions. Already reinstalled, tried an alternate release version, tried adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner tool, tried the registry fix. Haven't tried completely wiping all CC tools and reinstalling yet.

Anyone else run into this problem?

I had this exact problem and asked everywhere and only one user on Reddit was able to tell me what's wrong, so if any of you are still having problems (and running Adobe XD on Windows) check your Windows Store - If it doesn't work, XD can't either. Mine didn't work, and as soon as I fixed it XD was fixed too.

First time I have heard of such a thing. It could be a problem with Windows when fixed, also fixes Adobe XD. If you would like us to get in touch with you for investigation, send me your Adobe ID, location, and phone number over a private message. Just to be sure, is this the link that you were referring to? https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4027498/windows-10-run-the-troubleshooter-for-apps

    Thanks,
