Since updating my Adobe XD version 2.0 today, my XD is consistently crashing when I double click on text.

This is preventing me from working.

Please fix this bug asap.

Same issue as above on two different computers.  One my Surface Book laptop and the other on my homebrew desktop.  Both are up to date with drivers and on the latest version of Windows Fall Creators Update.

Unfortunately same issue here. It's even more irritating since I have a project that I have to deliver today and I can't work on it - XD crashes every time I touch text object. Adobe, do you really feel this software is out of beta phase?

Got the same issue AFTER installing the latest xd update.

So there cant be any issue with some kind of graphic driver or OS update ... It happened after the xd patch, not after any other system change. When you try to edit text or even click on it, the app crashes instantly without any warning.

No changes can be saved.

Right now this software is not usable ...

Hey Brian,

Sorry you are hitting this as well. Your Win10 version probably has an update available.  Could you please check for Windows updates to see if that resolves it?  Just type "Check for Updates" in the search field, and it should bring up the Windows Update dialog.

Thanks,

-Larry

Same problem as JC-Design here, same specs!

Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that doesn't solve the problem.

It appears anything related to the type tool is causing it to crash. Whether I try to edit existing text or create new text.

Hi Olawale,

Sorry you are experiencing a login issue. Could you please try signing in and out of the creative cloud application?  If that doesn't remedy the issue, could you please try rebooting your system?

Thanks!,

Hi Jason,

Sorry to hear that you are hitting this issue.  Could you please provide the specific version number for Win10?  It is available via the about dialog. It is available via

Start Menu > cog icon / Settings > System > About

You may then need to scroll down to see "Edition", "Version", and "OS Build"

Could you please include the device specifications as well?  They should be in the same About dialog.

Thanks

-Larry
