Align to Pixel Grid command changes text size

New Here ,
Aug 25, 2022 Aug 25, 2022

When I choose the Align to Pixel Grid command, XD is changing the size of the font. This effect seems to only happen with text boxes that contain multiple sizes of fonts in them, and occurs with each and every instance.

Before:

before align to grid.png

After:

after align to grid.png

The only work around I know of is to instead manually change the X and Y position values to whole numbers in the Transform palette... but that isn't practical at all. This problem makes my entire effort to make elements pixel perfect sketchy at best.

Hi Michael Logan HELO,

Thank you for reaching out. I can replicate this behavior on my end, and I have also shared this with the product team. I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from them.

I know this could be troublesome. However, apart from your shared workaround, you may try to write text with different font sizes separately.

Thanks for your patience and corporation.
