All settings greyed out and it's asking for my old computer that I don't have.
Can anything be done to resume normality?
I thought all the files were on the cloud because they flashed up on my new device but they may just have been smart previews.

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing? Are you able to see your Xd files from the Files tab on the Creative Cloud desktop app or https://www.adobe.com/files ?
Have you tried logging out and back in the Creative Cloud app, and relaunching Xd after that?

You no what. I really appreciate your post because you're the only one who replied.
The problem seems to have sorted itself out.
I think the problem happened because I was using a different WIFI maybe.
I was using the Internet at the library.
Do you think adobe has software designed to stop that?
As soon as I used my home Wifi it worked again.

Glad you got it working.
Who knows what the issue was. Could've been a temporary outage of some of Adobe's servers, or that library wifi network might've had some ports restricted and one happened to be used by CC.
