I am designing with multiple breakpoints and devices, and need to have separate character styles for desktop, tablet, and mobile. With the current system I can't create a separate type set for each device type because we can't duplicate font styles.
eg: An H4 on desktop may be the same as an H3 on tablet, but I can't duplicate the same font+size and rename it as something else for my tablet type set.
