Anima plugin in XD will not preview in the browser

I have been using the Anima app plugin with XD for a while now without issues. However, just a few days ago, when I click 'Preview in browser' I get stuck with the Loading animation forever and then I have to exit out of XD. 

Just to clear other possibilities, I did whitelist animapp.com with my company's IT team and my plug-in and XD are up to date.
